About

Here is an annual conference with a difference, a fast-paced day of insight and inspiration from an international array of art and design talent. It is curated and organised by It’s Nice That, a publishing platform that champions creativity online, in print and through a series of live events. Since the first symposium in 2012, Here has taken place in the splendid surroundings of The Royal Geographical Society in Kensington, west London.

Since the inaugural Here in 2012 we have welcomed Paul Smith, Erik Kessels, Adam Buxton, Marina Willer, Kate Moross, Christoph Niemann, Eike König, Annie Atkins, Ian Tait, Bob & Roberta Smith, Malika Favre, Gail Bichler and Nadav Kander among many others– you can watch videos from previous events on our archive page. The brains behind Apartamento, a magazine that bills itself as “an everyday life interiors magazine,” taking us inside some beautiful homes created by some beautiful people. Omar: an art director based in Barcelona, works closely with Marco, the Milan based editor-in-chief of the mag; and himself boasts a rather lovely apartment.
The magazine’s stunning design and innovative approach to content has been something we’ve admired for a while here at It’s Nice That, the machinations of which which we were lucky enough to learn more about in their unique and interesting talk at Here 2016.
